newjil Privacy Policy
newjil is committed to protecting the personal information of every Filipino player who uses our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how we keep it secure, and your rights regarding your personal information. By registering for or using a newjil account, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data as described herein.
Our Core Privacy Commitments
newjil's approach to data privacy is built on these six foundational principles. Everything we do with your personal data is guided by these commitments.
Transparency
We are open about what data we collect and why we collect it. This Privacy Policy is written in plain English and updated whenever our practices change. You will never be surprised by what data newjil holds about you or how we use it.
Security
Your personal data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only, and we conduct regular security audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
Purpose Limitation
We only collect personal data that is necessary for specific, legitimate purposes — account registration, payment processing, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention. We do not collect data for unrelated purposes or sell your information to third parties.
Data Minimization
newjil collects only the minimum personal data required to operate our platform and comply with PAGCOR regulations. We do not collect excessive or irrelevant information. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
Regulatory Compliance
newjil complies fully with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and all PAGCOR data protection requirements. Our data practices are audited regularly by PAGCOR to ensure ongoing compliance.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We honor these rights promptly and transparently.

9.4 Right to Erasure. You have the right to request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances — for example, where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or where you withdraw consent and no other legal basis for processing applies. Note that certain data must be retained to fulfill PAGCOR regulatory and AMLA compliance obligations, which override the right to erasure in those specific contexts.
9.5 Right to Data Portability. You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to request that we transmit that data to another controller where technically feasible.
9.6 Right to Object. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Upon receipt of such an objection, newjil will cease processing your data for marketing purposes immediately.

These communications may be delivered via SMS to your registered mobile number, email to your registered email address, or via in-platform notifications.
You may withdraw consent to receive marketing communications at any time by updating your notification preferences in your account settings, or by contacting newjil support. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect your ability to use the Platform or the lawfulness of any processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
Please note that certain non-promotional communications — such as transaction confirmations, security alerts, responsible gaming notifications, and regulatory communications — are sent regardless of your marketing preferences, as these are essential account communications required by newjil's operating obligations.
11. Protection of Minors
newjil's Platform is strictly intended for adults aged 21 years and above. This requirement is mandated by PAGCOR regulations and strictly enforced through our KYC identity verification process. newjil does not knowingly collect or process personal data from persons under the age of 21.
If newjil becomes aware that personal data has been collected from an individual under 21 years of age — whether through registration, payment processing, or any other means — the associated account will be immediately suspended and all collected personal data will be securely deleted in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Any funds associated with an underage account will be handled in accordance with PAGCOR's prescribed protocol.
Parents and guardians who believe a minor may have created a newjil account should contact our support team immediately at [email protected] so that the account can be reviewed and closed.
12. International Data Transfers
newjil's primary data processing infrastructure is located within the Philippines. However, some of our third-party service providers — including cloud infrastructure providers and game developers — may process data in other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred outside the Philippines, newjil ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data to the same standard as required by the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Such safeguards may include standard contractual clauses approved by the National Privacy Commission, binding corporate rules where the recipient is part of a corporate group, or transfers to jurisdictions that have been determined to provide an adequate level of personal data protection. If you have questions about any specific international data transfer, please contact our Data Protection Officer.
